The farmhouses maremmani are the typical representation of rural housing type or even business, suited to intensive agriculture activities and farming. In this type of case, the main building was used for habitation, while the secondary buildings, had surrounded the house structure, consisting of barns, stables and outbuildings of various kinds. In some homes we can see some influence of Spanish style elements, mixed together with traditional Tuscan styles.
