Pitigliano

Pitigliano is part of the province of Grosseto. We can reach up the Highway 74 Maremmana, from which we can observe the typical houses that protrude from a large outcrop of tufa, absolutely straight. The cliff is made up of Pitigliano in on three sides by ravines, full of caves carved into the tufa. Pitigliano is a typical village Maremma Grosseto unique features to be built entirely on a tufa stone, so it become one of the most interesting of the tuff.
