Maremma Toscana

The maremma Tuscany is formed from Maremma Livorno or Maremma Pisan and the Maremma Grosseto. The Maremma Grosseto occupies the whole of the province of Grosseto up to stretch in the Gulf of Follonica north to the mouth of the river Chiarone south, which marks the border with the Lazio region. The region is bathed in the west by the Tyrrhenian Sea, from which we can observe the southern islands of the Tuscan Archipelago but also through a clear sky and clean you can see the outline of Cape Corso, a mountainous area in northern Corsica.
The area north-west springs in the southern part of the province of Livorno, continuing in the Maremma Livorno. At its centre is due Valley dell'Ombrone.
